Cancellation & Refund Policy
The Heritage Convention Hall & Rooms
At The Heritage Convention Hall & Rooms, we understand that plans may change. This policy explains the terms related to cancellations and refunds for room bookings and convention hall reservations.
1. Room Booking Cancellations
Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the scheduled check-in date may be eligible for a partial or full refund, subject to management approval.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of check-in or no-shows may not be eligible for a refund.
Refund eligibility depends on the rate plan selected at the time of booking.
2. Convention Hall & Event Cancellations
Event cancellations must be informed in writing (email or official message).
Cancellation charges are as follows:
More than 15 days before the event: Partial refund after deducting administrative charges
7–15 days before the event: 50% of the advance amount may be refunded
Less than 7 days before the event: No refund
Advance payments are generally non-refundable for last-minute cancellations.
3. Refund Process
Approved refunds will be processed through the original mode of payment.
Refund processing may take 7–10 working days depending on the payment method and bank processing time.
Any transaction or gateway charges, if applicable, will be deducted from the refund amount.
4. Rescheduling Policy
Requests for rescheduling are subject to availability and management approval.
One-time rescheduling may be allowed without additional charges if informed well in advance.
Revised rates may apply if the event or stay is rescheduled to a different date or season.
5. Non-Refundable Situations
No refunds will be provided in the following cases:
No-shows
Early check-out after check-in
Violation of property rules or terms & conditions
Events affected by guest-related issues or non-compliance
6. Force Majeure
In case of unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics, or events beyond our control, refunds or rescheduling will be at the sole discretion of management.
